About the list of health care providers
The list of health care providers contains basic information about the providers operating within the public health service network in the Republic of Slovenia, i.e. the providers who provide services that are fully or partially covered by compulsory health insurance funds. The list does not include data on private individuals who provide health services exclusively for self-pay patients and who do not have a relevant contract with the Health Insurance Institute of Slovenia (ZZZS).
You can search for health care providers in two ways:
- by type of provider (community health centre, hospital, pharmacy ...)
- by health care activities (general medical practice, hospital activity, orthodontics, dermatology ...).
If a health care provider performs their activity in several locations, only the name of the provider's head office will be displayed, while the location at which the provider performs individual activity can be seen from the provider's website or office hours ("Office hours" field). Private individuals with a concession are classified by type of provider according to the activity they predominantly perform. When you select a specific provider, all the activities performed by that provider will be shown.
The following provider information are shown:
- ZZZS number
- name,
- address,
- phone,
- website,
- type of ownership,
- ZZZS regional unit,
- activities performed by the regional unit, and
- contractually agreed office hours.
